2010 VW Golf GTI Photos Released

VW has unveiled the all-new Golf GTI..well kinda. VW posted these photos of the new Golf GTI on its German media site.

The 2010 GTI is powered by a 2.0L TFSI four cylinder that puts out 210 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. On the outside the new GTI gets many of the same changes as the new Golf. The GTI will reach 0-62 mph in 7.2 seconds and gets a combined 31 mpg on the European cycle.

VW Golf: Next gen to get more classic design!

The next generation VW Golf is said to receive a more classic design after Dr. Winterkorn ordered it back to the design board. It's said that the planned facelift will be heavier than expected so far.Biggest changes: No more chrome grilles, the side lines will be same for 2- and 4-door versions and we will see the arrival of a hybrid engine (which can be used later as well for the Audi A3).
