2008 Infiniti G35: In Sketch Form

Infiniti won’t say much about its new G35 coupe, shown above in a sketch the company provided. The automaker won’t even let us tell you what auto show it will debut at — though only the Chicago Auto Show in February and the New York International Auto Show in April remain on the docket. We do know it will greatly resemble the revised 2007 G35 sedan in terms of interior and exterior styling and content, and will most likely have the same engine.

2008 Ford F-450 and Full Super-Duty Lineup Debuts in Texas

Ford will unveil its first ever F-450 Super Duty pickup today at the Texas State Fair. Shown above, the F-450 is all new to the lineup; it was previously only used for commercial applications and can tow more than 24,000 pounds. Yeah, you read that right: 24,000 pounds. That’s a Lockheed Martin F-35 fighter jet, or the Hubble Telescope.

The F-450 is powered by a new 6.4-liter turbo-diesel engine that puts out 350 hp and 650 pounds-feet of torque. That’s 8 more pounds-feet of torque than the outgoing 6.0-liter diesel engine. There are also gasoline V-8 and V-10 engines available throughout the range.

There’s also a new interior, but at press time no interior photos were available.

Pricing and availability will be announced at a future date. The 2008s should arrive at dealerships in early 2007.
